How we write and test our posts
Who writes this blog, how AI is used, and what you can rely on.
Who writes it
Every post is published under the name of its author, Omkar Sahu, who chooses the topics, is responsible for what is published, and answers for mistakes.
How AI is used
Posts are drafted with the help of an AI assistant. We say so plainly, because you should know. A draft is not published on the strength of the assistant alone: the code in it is checked against the library, as described below.
How code samples are checked
- Every component, prop and option named in a post is checked against the library's own source and type definitions, so an example does not use something that does not exist.
- When a post is found to be wrong, it is corrected, and the “Updated” date on the post changes.
What the dates mean
- Published is the day the post first appeared.
- Updated appears when the post was changed after that.
- Last reviewed appears only when a person has gone through the post again, checking the text and the code. Posts are being reviewed one by one, so most do not have it yet.
What we do not do
- There are no sponsored posts and no paid placements.
- oks-ui is free and MIT licensed. The posts exist to teach people to use it well.
- Ads, where they appear, are labelled “Advertisement” and kept apart from the text.
Found a mistake?
Tell us on the contact page, with the address of the post and what is wrong. A report with the component and the version of oks-ui is the quickest to fix.
